The Rapid City Journal Newspaper in Education or NIE program is part of a worldwide effort to stimulate learning through the use of newspapers in the classroom.

Educational services include

  • Free newspapers provided by sponsors (while funding lasts)
  • Weekly online lesson plans or choose one from our extensive archive.

Tours of the Journal and guest speakers who will visit classrooms and talk about reporting and advertising.
